  1. An applicant needs to have 7,500 hours of project management experience along with 35 hours of related education. 
  2. An applicant must have relevant four-year degree plus 4,500 hours of experience in leading projects and 35 hours of project management training.

  • Download and read the PMP Handbook to know the application process, exam fee, exam, certification renewal, etc. 
  • Pay membership fee to be eligible to take the exam. 
  • Prepare for the PMP exam. 
  • Complete your application from the main website. You have 90 days to complete the application form.
  • Submit your application form plus the payment. 
  • Schedule and take your PMP exam. 
  • You need to renew your PMP certification every 3 years.

You need to keep a track of your PDUs in order to maintain your PDUs. You need to earn 60 PDUs every three years in order to maintain your PDU certification.
