How Much Does IT Certifications Cost?

In this article, I am going to share the most common IT certification with their exam cost. When we plan to do a certification, the first thing that comes into one’s mind is “how much does this IT certification cost?” Agree or not ? 

So, let’s start without wasting any more time. 

First, we will talk about Cisco Certifications. 

How much does Cisco exams cost? 

Cisco Certifications are divided into 5 levels-

Aws certification cost lies between 100 USD-300 USD. Exam cost varies with certification level, if you want to give an entry-level or associate-level exam then you have to pay around 100-150 USD. If you want to go for a professional or a specialty level certification then you will have to pay 300 USD. Azure and Aws both are the best cloud service platforms. As we all know, cloud computing demand is increasing day by day, so if you do Aws training or Azure training then it will be a good investment and you will get good returns in the future (highly paid job). Associate level certification is for beginners who want to become cloud engineers or people who have 1-2 years of experience.

How much does CompTIA exams cost?

CompTIA certifications are divided into 4 categories- named as core series certifications, Infrastructure series certifications, Cybersecurity series and professional certifications. There is no prerequisite for core and infrastructure series certification. 

 All these are entry-level certifications, if you want to start your career in the IT field, then you can go for these certifications. Having a certification, or CompTIA professional training adds value to your resume, for fresher chances of getting hired are more, experienced IT professionals can expect a salary hike after certification. Certification validates your skills.

How much does Microsoft Certification cost? 

Microsoft Certifications are divided into 3 levels named as beginner level, intermediate and advanced level. Microsoft certification cost varies with exam level, beginner level certification exam cost is 99 USD, while most intermediate and advanced level exam cost is 165 USD. So, you can see Microsoft certifications are cheaper than other vendor certifications. 

You can also get a 100% discount on Microsoft fundamental certification. To get 100% discount, you have to attend live training on Microsoft portal, after completing this training, you will be eligible for 100% discount. The training duration is around 4 hrs. First, register yourself on Microsoft learning portal for training, attend the training, after 2 days of training completion, you will get a mail, schedule your exam. One thing to keep in mind, schedule your exam with the same email Id that you used at the time of training registration.
